Is This You?

If you’ve ever caught yourself doing any of the following… it might be time to rethink your relationship with alcohol.

A woman with blonde hair tied up in a ponytail, wearing an orange blouse, sitting at a wooden table with her hands clasped near her face, looking contemplative.
  • You don’t just drink—you plan when, where, and how much.

You think about whether you’ll have to drive, who will be drinking with you, whether there will be alcohol at the event, and if not, whether it’s even worth going.

You’ve mapped out your week around “when you can drink” like it’s a reward system.

It’s not casual. It’s calculated. And it’s exhausting.

  • It’s not just the drinking. It’s the thinking.

You’re thinking about when you’ll drink, how much you’ll drink, whether you should drink, how you’ll feel after, and how you’ll “make up for it” tomorrow.

Even when you’re not drinking, alcohol is renting space in your brain—stealing your focus, your energy, and your peace.

You’re not out of control… but you’re definitely not free.

And deep down, you’re exhausted by the mental load of it all.

  • You say, “I’ll only drink on weekends.”

Then Thursday becomes the new Friday.

You say, “Just two drinks tonight.”

Then pour a third. Or a fourth.

Moderation turns into mental gymnastics, and you’re constantly moving the goalposts to justify the habit.

It’s not working—and you know it.

  • You wake up full of shame, anxiety, and regret…

Asking yourself: “Why did I do that again? What’s wrong with me?”

You swear you’ll stop. You even believe it.

But by evening, it’s like your brain overrides your promises.

    Here’s the truth:

    There’s nothing wrong with you.

You’re not weak. You’re not broken. You’re not a failure.

You’re caught in a cycle that’s driven by brain chemistry—dopamine, habit loops, emotional triggers, and nervous system dysregulation.

Once you understand what’s actually happening in your brain, the shame starts to lift.

    And real change becomes possible.

  • You’re not trying to join a 12-step program or label yourself.

You don’t want to shout “I’m sober!” from the rooftops.

You just want alcohol to lose its grip—to stop feeling like a constant presence, a crutch, or something you need to negotiate with.

You want to go to dinner, travel, celebrate, or unwind…

without alcohol being the center of it.

You want to feel present, peaceful, and unbothered.

You’re not afraid of being alcohol-free

You’re afraid of feeling bored, isolated, or like you’ve lost your edge.

    Here’s the reframe:

Freedom doesn’t mean missing out. It means showing up fully—without needing anything to take the edge off.

Cricket & Dr. Jen have both walked the path from alcohol abuse to full-on freedom—breaking up with booze for life. In Zero for Life, they blend science and soul to help you do the same. You’ll learn the real health risks, reset your brain’s chemistry, and uncover the deeper “why” beneath your drinking—so you can finally let go, for good, and come home to your truest self.

Meet Your Guides

Christa “Cricket” King

A woman with long, wavy blonde hair smiling at sunset with warm lighting.

Hey there, beautiful soul—so glad you found your way here.

I’m Christa King, but you can call me Cricket. After 30 years in hospitality, I made a bold pivot into wellness and entrepreneurship—right in the middle of a perfect storm: a CPTSD diagnosis, a painful divorce, a toxic relationship, and a complicated history with alcohol.

In November 2023, I got sober—for good. That decision changed everything. I dove deep into healing with psychedelics, reparented my inner child, and finally found my purpose. That’s when Cricket Fixes was born.

Today, I’m combining 35+ years of therapy, certifications in hypnotherapy and coaching, and a whole lot of lived experience to guide others through their own transformation—without the overwhelm or the $10K price tag.

If you’re ready to break free and become who you really are, I’m right here with you. Let’s go.

Dr. Jennifer Rossi, MD

Hi, I’m Dr. Jennifer Rossi. I’m a board-certified physician in Emergency and Obesity Medicine who took a major pivot after hitting my own wall with chronic stress, burnout, and a complicated relationship with alcohol. I’ve been alcohol-free since 2023, and that decision completely transformed my life—and how I practice medicine.

Today, I blend conventional, lifestyle, and integrative approaches to help people reset their health, rebalance their hormones, and reconnect with their joy. I’ve trained in Functional Medicine, Genomics, Hormone Therapy, and Integrative Mental Health—not just to treat symptoms, but to heal the root cause.

I live in Bend, Oregon, with my two amazing kids and our golden retriever, Aspen. If you’re ready to feel vibrant, clear, and fully alive, I’m here to walk that path with you.
